A body of water slowly undulates—opening, framing and closing Manna for the Ghosts Part 2. Conceived as a video essay, Manna for the Ghosts Part 2 pieces together documentary footage of the making of Saudade (2020). A fisherman demonstrates how to build traditional shrimping nets; the artist’s mother recalls family rituals of accidental black magic possession—passed down through the conduit of film are the oral histories at the very root of Portuguese Eurasians.
